Band: Dear Human
Dear Human (self-titled EP)
Consisting of John Gillespie and Dan Minshew on guitar, Michael Scroggins on bass (on album), Tyler Waguespack the current bass player, and Casey Nalley on drums, these guys pump out mathematical equations on their instruments. No vocals are necessary for them to maintain separate melodies which intertwine -- the broad range of their sound is expansive. When listening to Dear Human live, the energy that they emit not unlike a Tesla Coil, it serves to create an even bigger following. Oh, and they. Are. Loud. Somehow these four are able to create distorted lullabies that make you think of sirens and phoenixes, intricate myths. If you haven't heard them yet, I would most certainly recommend you do so because this 4-piece has got some serious rhythm that mutates into down-right rock and roll finger picking chaos. Being talented musicians in blue jeans and band t-shirts, they spare no expense at the creativity they bring forth in order to formulate linear polyrhythms and angular guitar lines. Dear Human has a little something for every human out there and if you haven't heard them yet, being a human, you ought to. Members: Dan Minshew, John Gillespie, Casey Naley, and Tyler Waguespack
