Band: POLYCORNS
Forebodingly minor scales often add to complex melody patterns to create song that are not only easy to listen to but easy to study as a listener. Generally up beat and even at times a bit bouncy the songs are clean, clear, and sound like a lot of fun to play.
The fluxuation in tonality within the vocal patterns will at times remind me of a very talented thermion solo, buuuut… it is surprisingly not out of place along side this complex music.
Even through the intricacy of any given measure or bridge the tasteful restraint of each musician is impressive. At least to the listener, there seems to be no show boating which adds exponentially to the value of the good ideas almost hidden within the songs. (For example: the first ten seconds of Ready To Be Worm, listen to the single tones of the keyboard. First coming in at the top of the phrasing then the second time around they follow the phrasing.) Attention to detail. Memebers:
