Band: The Hope Trust

With their album, The Incurable Want, The Hope Trust threads easy to pallet good ideas with anxiety and sometimes a touch of uneasiness on top of a varied musical backdrop. Their 2007 release brings you on a small tour made up of snapshots of thoughts and insights into situations everyone can relate to, at least to some degree, while the band as a whole is well-suited at coloring in the details of that which is not said.

Without making things too heavy (sing along in your car, not crying in the dark, but maybe a tasteful rainy day tossed in here and there), these songs seem to ask for both hope and trust. This is one of those band that, even if you don't directly connect with the music, you are sure to come away from the record understanding the music appeal to its fans.

Though I haven’t seen them on many of the local venue calendar listings, you can catch them on Last FM as well as on the real radio (remember that thing) on 97.1 KXT.
